Book Discussion

We have a wonderful book discussion group that meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month @10:00 A.M. Check the newsletter for the name of the book of the month.

Chess

Join Chess Champ Don Vandivier on Tuesdays at 1:00 PM. Don will help you learn how to play this great game of strategy.

Choir

Come sing your heart out. Our choir is a wonderful asset to our center. Join our choir on Wednesdays @ 10:45.

The center offers a wide variety of classes to fit anyone's needs. Check the newsletter for updates on new classes.

Driver Safety Class

AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation's first and largest refresher course for drivers age 50 and older that has helped millions of drivers remain safe on today's roads. The goal of the program is to tune up your driving skills and update your knowledge of the rules of the road, learn about normal age-related physical changes, and how to adjust your driving to allow for these changes, reduce your traffic violations, crashes, and chances for injuries, drive more safely, and get an insurance discount. Auto insurance companies in most states provide a multiyear discount to AARP graduates. The next session is April 21, & 22, 2010 from 12-4PM. You must attend both days of each session to receive credit. Cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Checks should be made payable to AARP. Please sign up in advance due to limited space.

Scrabble

Come challenge your mind and join our scrabble group. Scrabble is a great way to expand your vocabulary and keep your mind active. Scrabble is held on Mondays and Wednesdays @ 1:00 P.M

Watercolor Class

Come join Joe Green as he walks you through the steps of making watercolor painting easy. He can teach anyone to paint. Watercolor classes are held on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 A.M. Cost is $30 for 4 weeks. For updated class information visit our newsletter.
